“These include methods that can be used to monitor telephone calls, view employees with video equipment, scan email, and track Internet usage. In addition to this, systems are also available that can keep track of the keystrokes on computer terminals.” So with all the technology changes to make monitoring easier, cheaper, and able to monitor almost anything, more and more companies are looking into or have already installed monitoring systems. What happens if this one is a little longer? Does it make a difference? Does the text go underneath the picture? I hope that it does because it might look better if it does.

Currently, the company does not monitor its employees. They have cameras that watch important areas like the entrance, parking lot, important assets inside the building, and behind the building. They now have an opportunity to install cameras and monitoring software for a cheap price as part of a deal from their security company. But before they implement anything, management wants to know both sides of the issue before they take any action. The purpose of this report is to present all the arguments (advantages and disadvantages) for workplace monitoring, ethics behind monitoring, and present a logical conclusion on what course of action to take.
